Motivation


OMG OMG!! THAT JUST HAPPENED!!! I ran for 20 minutes STRAIGHT!!!!

Y’all I hate to run. I mean HATE IT. But I challenged myself to start learning. I suck at it. I couldn’t run from here to the stop sign without wanting to pass out. But over the last 2.5 months I have trained my body to just do it. It hasn’t gotten easier. I still suck wind and feel like someone kicked me in the throat but I get through it. I learned to focus on what’s right in front of me and not how far I have to go. The further ahead I look the heavier my legs feel and the more I feel like I can’t do it.

Isn’t that like LIFE!! Knowing where you want to go, focusing on the steps right in front of you, and by the time you look up, you are that much closer to where you want to be. Work hard. Push through the tough times and be consistent, while constantly learning what works and what doesn’t. Changing and growing…getting it done and eventually CONQUERING what we set it to do.

I hope this inspires you to challenge yourself in a new way and not give up.
