OMG…I might cry. Today is my absolute favorite and proudest moment as a coach. This is EVERYTHING about why I am a coach.
MY DAD EXERCISED…AND HE LIKED IT!!
For those of you who don’t know my dad, he has been disabled for as long as I remember but, 6 years ago he lost his ability to really even walk without horrific pain. He had confined himself to his home and his chair restricted in movement. He left really only to go to the doctor or a quick trip to the store. He has been on a progressive recovery program & Today he is like a whole new man.
Today we did an extremely modified version of P90 with Tony Horton and he broke a sweat. He said he could feel the stiffness loosening up and that he felt like he could breathe for the first time in years. Even though it was light movement, this is HUGE for him. It is the start of something. I am so proud of him. I am so grateful for the programs that enable him to do things at home and to help him get his range of motion and function back so he can have a better quality of life. THANK YOU TONY!! Look at him go!
