I am asked EVERY time I travel, “how do you do that by yourself all the time with the kids?” Well…this is how we do it. Lol. And this was a light trip. We packed half the amount of clothes, washed, and rewore them halfway through the trip so I could pack just one bag. I wear Audrey and have a car seat bag that straps to my back. Our bags have 4 wheels so I can tie them together and wheel them with our carry on bags sitting on top.
Now that Quin is old enough he can carry his own back pack and we need LESS stuff. Can you imagine what this used to look like with a stroller, pack & play, pump bag, and an additional suitcase. Sheesh. What that used to look like makes traveling like this super easy.
I make sure the kids have a lot of coloring books, creative stuff, movies, snacks, and blankets. We also usually try to fly around sleepy times so they will sleep. LOL.
Anyway…I have been traveling like this with the kids for years and have become a travel PRO when it comes to packing and commuting. Feel free to ask me for tips or tricks that I have.
My favorite suitcase is the hardshell Delsey suitcase with 4 wheels that rotates 360 degrees.
On another note…I AM HOME!! Back to the normal routine.
