This morning the kids were starving and tugging at my leg because they were wanting food. I gave them a few pieces of fruit and then had an idea. I decided to try something new and different. We were visiting my family and sometimes they do not have the same ingredients at home that we would usually have so I improvised. Instead of feeding them the regular white flour pancakes I used bananas and oatmeal packets with an egg and threw it in the blender. it turned out great and the kids loved them. Added a little Grade B Maple Syrup and ended up making more. You can’t beat making something healthy out of what was lying around and having the kids like it.
What you need:
1 banana
1 packet of apple cinnamon oatmeal
1 egg
2 tbsp of Whole organic milk (optional)
What to do:
Mix all ingredients in a blender and place large spoon fulls in a medium heat skillet. Once bubbling flip and heat until golden brown. Serve with 1 tbsp of Syrup drizzled over top.
