Do you do your lunges correctly
Tips for when doing lunges:
1 keep the energy in the front leg.
2 keep your toes up on the front foot
3 keep your knee over your ankle
4 keep your shoulder back and up
5 get as low as possible squeezing the tush and your core
6 when you stand up press down with your front heel and squeeze the tush.
All to often, myself included, we get lazy when doing lunges. We lean to far forward dropping our shoulders. We press off the back toes to stand up so our rushes and hamstrings don’t actually get the full benefit of the lunge.
