Basic Protein Waffles

Ingredients:

2 c Old Fashion Oatmeal

1 c low fat cottage cheese

10 egg whites

2 whole eggs

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

 

Protein Waffles

 

Blend all ingredients together and cook on a waffle iron. Cook Until Golden.

 

We make all different versions of these. We add carob chips (imitation chocolate chips), blueberries, bananas, peanut butter & Dark chocolate coco powder, cranberries. Etc. These have been a hit with everyone who has tried them. On Sunday evenings I make multiple batches and then freeze them.  I pop them in the toaster before I head out the door. You can eat plain or top with your topping of choice. My husband likes Nutella and Bananas and my son likes them plain with Light Agave syrup. So Yummy. I like mine with carob chips a little peanut butter on them. You can put raw local honey on they as well.
