As most of you already know because of my husband’s heartfelt thank you post last night (which I will share the link below)…I gave him his DREAM CAR for Christmas!!! It was a total surprise. And here it is….
The video is a little long but it is in 3 parts. The initial surprise, his processing it, and his thoughts just before he pulled it into the garage.
I have wanted to do something like this for him for years. He is a hard working, loving, and supportive and for so many years…he carried our little family through some really tough transitional times. He is absolutely amazing in so many ways. He never does anything for himself and has driven the same car which he LOVES for the past 12 years. It was time. But he would Never have bought himself a new car or even a new used car because he always thinks of others before himself and about what we need or want as a family. He is also my ROCK and the reason we have a nest egg and savings. He knows what to do with our money and how to make it work for us. So it was hard for me to save up over the last year for this baby without him knowing. (Trust me. He asked where the money was going. Lol)
Not only that but…This time last year, my credit as a stay at home mom with no income to show for it and no credit at all…I didn’t even qualify for a cell phone without Val’s help. I don’t have credit cards and I try to live on the cash that is in the bank ONLY. Now 2 years later I am an ELITE Level member of BMW and was able to pay for this car BY MYSELF without Val’s Help and managed to score an AMAZING deal. It just made me feel incredible to know that I can provide for my family in more ways than one and to be able to INDULGE in gifts like this every blue moon. We rarely buy anything outside our actual needs.
***I also said “technically its mine, but its yours” because since he wasn’t there to sign for it…It had to be registered to me but it will be his and registered to him when I sign it over to him today.
We have been blessed immensely over the past 2 years as a family. I have to give all the Glory to God and the things he is doing in our lives. This one…was all Him. I even tried to back out and he came at me BOLDLY, in answer to prayer, through a man (total stranger) in front of my a church one day, named Claud, who said “God told me to tell you to do it. Don’t worry…trust in him that he will make all things possible”. CRAZY!!!
I also have to thank my family & friends for helping me make it happen & for keeping the surprise. And a HUGE THANK YOU to my amazing team, both up an down, as well as my Team Beachbody corporate family. It’s because I have awesome leadership and an amazing supportive successful team that I was able to do this for my husband I think his face and his reaction says it all.
