HAVE A GREAT HEALTHY WEEKEND!!!

Its Friday!!! The weekend can make or break you. So here are a few things to think about.

Don’t skip your workout. Instead squeeze in a longer one and do it first thing in the am so you can enjoy the rest of your day.

Spend time outside. Vitamin D is good for your body, mind and soul.

Don’t be Lazy! Be Productive but also make sure you do plan some time to relax. Don’t waste away the entire weekend on the couch catching up on shows. All that hard work you did to speed up your metabolism and build your energy levels will be sure to take a nose dive if you spend all day sedentary.

Limit your alcohol. You don’t need to get wasted. Drink in moderation if at all.

Eat like it is a weekday. Stay focused and don’t mindlessly eat out of boredom or because you can. Don’t over indulge on party food or eating out.

If you feel deprived. Maybe you feel like you aren’t really living your life or you feel like you are missing out on something. Maybe you are worried deep down what other people might say if you turn down a drink or don’t eat what is clearing screaming “Eat me” or Maybe you just don’t want it bad enough, and that’s okay!! BUT, if you said yes to any of these things and that the short term sacrifices aren’t really worth the LONG TERM VICTORY than it’s time to re evaluate your goals.

Enjoy your HEALTHY LIFE! It’s not always easy and sometimes we slip up but I can tell you that over time it gets easier. Live the 80/20 principle and be able to pick and choose if it’s worth it or not. By doing this you won’t ever feel deprived because It is your choice. Choose to look and feel better AND it sure beats the bloated feeling and stomach pains that come after a carefree cheat meal.
