Before I became a coach I NEVER really listened to motivational speakers or listened to personal development because I honestly didn’t think I needed to. I thought everything was fine and life was great.
I wasn’t really working towards any kind of crazy goals. Sure…I read things about how to do things as a mom or a wife but never in a capacity as I do now.
Today we had the chance to listen to BO Eason (famous football player turned actor/writer/motivational speaker/success coach. He had my full attention the entire time. I laughed. I cried. I felt overwhelmed. And I was inspired.
I also listened to Chalene Johnson and had lunch with her and listened to her talk about overcoming shyness and learning to own who you are and being successful as a person in ALL your relationships. How to overcome my insecurities and open the door for more relationships.
This is something I have always struggled with. I think people assume I am super outgoing. That I am an extrovert. Honestly… It is the opposite. I am an outgoing introvert.
I feel so recharged and the fire has been relit and I have that passion and drive to do more and be more…not just as a coach but as a mom. A friend. A neighbor. And so much more.
So so grateful for opportunities like this. And I am so glad I decided to come. I almost didn’t. I had plenty of excuses why I shouldn’t or couldn’t come. It isn’t always convenient to get to events but it is ALWAYS worth it in the end.
Success is not convenient but if you are willing to do what most people won’t for a short period of time, it will pay off in the end.
So who is your favorite motivational speaker??
