I’m Featured in NATURAL MUSCLE MAGAZINE!!!! WHAT??? Waking up to hear the news that I have been pictured as a tri fitness athlete in this month’s issue of Natural Muscle Magazine was awesome!! Thank you Natural Muscle Magazine, Al & Bernadette Rosen for selecting me to represent your incredible organization. And thank you Josh for helping me find the confidence to go for it. I placed first in my age group and 2nd overall for Grace and Physique. I was not eligible for placement in the Tri Fitness Overall because I did not do a fitness routine. After deciding late to enter the competition, I trained for 2.5 weeks for Tri-Fitness. I NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN A GYM. I used a combination of my own speed and agility workouts, 21 day fix extreme, hammer and chisel, and Insanity Asylum. Seriously….Home workouts WORK! If you allow them too and you put in the same effort as you would at a gym. I had coaching and guidance and support with nutrition as well as workouts. I had accountability from my coach, Al, and my challengers 100% virtual. My husband was an amazing cheerleader and helped me stay focused when I wan’t wanting to workout or I was wanting pizza. I almost didn’t complete because of fear and insecurity. That is self imposed. Truth is Anyone can do it. It may take more than 2.5 weeks but you CAN do it. You just have to believe in yourself and your abilities and work for it. Build up to your goal. Your biggest competitor is YOURSELF. If you have set a goal to do a spartan race, mud run, or any type of competition or race and need someone to guide you, and you are willing to put in the work for yourself, then I would love to coach you. WOOO HOOO!!! SO EXCITED!!! This makes me want to compete again this month? 2.5 weeks. What do you all think? Should I?
