Overcome The Overwhelm !

“When you try to control everything you enjoy nothing. Sometimes you just need to relax, breathe, let it go and live in the moment”.

Can I get an Amen…I know you know the feeling. You have a lot on your to do list and very little time to do it. You are fighting a deadline and you feel the pressure and you are running frantic both physically and mentally trying to do whatever you need to do to make everything happen that needs to happen before the sand runs out. Or maybe you have a child that is not behaving the way you raised him to and you are trying to control his thoughts and his behavior and it’s just not working out the way you thought it would so you rack your brain on what do I do, what do I do? You want to be Superwomen, right? Who doesn’t? You can handle it. You got this. Right?

I say you but I mean me as well. These are things that I get stuck trying to control. Trying to be Superwomen and Do it all! Well, I have come to realize that we just need to relax, breathe, pray, trust, let it go, and let God. I find that breathing in and out slowly and deeply relaxing my mind and calming my thoughts helps to stop the crazy chatter in my brain and helps to ease the overwhelm. I read words that help to calm me and I talk to God. That just me.

Find what works for you to overcome the overwhelm. Relax. Breathe. Let it Go.
