FIT FOOD TIP: Pomegranates are delicious…even though they seem to stain everything they come close to. Another reason to eat them is that they contain phytonutrients that help with recovery after exercise by reducing inflammation, helping with muscle damage, and strength performance recovery following heavy resistance training by reducing muscle weakness and soreness. This is a much better alternative than taking an Advil or ibuprofen. So if you are training hard for multiple days in a row Go grab some pomegranates.
