There are many different people in this world of all shapes, sizes, styles. Even people who are fit are put down and made to feel like less. It is hurtful when people just assume that you will judge them because they don’t necessarily make the same life choices that you do. It is hurtful when people make accusations toward you about the type of person or mother that you are just because you choose to live your life one way or the other. It goes both ways here. Actually it goes in Multifaceted directions.
Point is DO NOT pre judge people. The super skinny girl at the gym lifting weights may have had beat cancer but is left with conditions where she CAN’T gain weight. Don’t tell her that she shouldn’t be there. The girl with tattoos, piercings and dyed hair may just be the most kind, smart, gentle and inspiring person that you have ever met. Don’t assume she is a trouble maker. The person who is a overweight may have just come out of an abusive relationship, had a baby, or be on a steroid medication for a life altering condition. Don’t assume that they just don’t care about themselves. The list goes on and on. STEP UP and say HELLO! Ask them how they are doing and MEAN IT!
We have all heard…Don’t Judge a book by its cover. You never know their story until you ask. You never understand why a person is who they are until you get to read the pages of their book. You will never read those pages unless you pick up the book.
