Do You Set Goals? I have to admit…I have never been a goal setter so to speak. I guess I always had end goals in mind but I never really SET GOALS. If that makes sense. I would just kinda go about life throwing arrows out there hoping that one would hit the target. Most of the time one of them would hit the bullseye. Do you ever feel like your are constantly throwing arrows but nothing is sticking?
Recently, I realized that I never really had a specific PLAN in mind on HOW to hit that goal. Like the little things daily that needed to be done to make things happen. GOAL SETTING is an important part of the process in anything you are working for in life. An end goal is great but we need the stepping stone goals too. “Every Arrow needs a target because without it…What are you? Your aimless”. A dear friend uttered these words the other day and it really struck a cord. I don’t want to be aimless.
So let me encourage you to sit down this morning with a note pad and map out your goals. Talk to your significant other and set goals together or just do it for YOU! Wrote down what you want and then wrote down what needs to be done to get you there. Order those things out by priority and set a DATE for each mini goal and ultimately the end goal.
Trust me…it will give you much more direction in this life.
