Good Morning!
Today I made this skinny frozen pumpkin treat. It was delicious. Want a Clean low cal Pumpkin Frap??? I have a few options for you in the description so check it out.
The way I made it required a little pre prep work. I began with freezing, in ice trays, a mixture of almond milk, pumpkin puree, truvia, ground cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. You may simply use pumpkin pie spice instead of the spices. You may use any kind of milk you prefer. You can also swap the truvia with Grade B maple syrup, honey, agave, sugar, or your favorite sweetener. If you use stevia, a natural sweetener, your skinny frappe will have less calories. You can also add a banana if you choose to give it a little extra kick.
Don’t have time to freeze up the ingredients? You can simply use pumpkin puree and a little ice with the other ingredients and mix in a blender.
I Blended the pumpkin cubes, almond milk, and spices with vanilla shakeology. Placed it in my new Mason Jar Cup and enjoyed every bit of it!
Don’t have Vanilla Shakeology?? You can simply add a tsp of vanilla extract or use vanilla almond milk, or vanilla whey protein.
Add 1 cup of COLD decaf coffee to the mix and make yourself a Frappe. If you add coffee, reduce the Almond milk to 2-4 oz.
You can also top it with a little whip cream if you want to throw the “clean” part out the window.
This Smoothie/Frappe is totally natural and gluten free.
What you need:
- 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1-2 Truvia Packets (add or subtract to taste/preference)
- dash of each of the spices
Nutmeg, Cinnamon, & Cloves (or Pumpkin Spice)
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Shakeology (see above for alternatives)
ENJOY!!
