Move of the Day: WEIGHTED SIDE LUNGES
Simple fitness here today but effective when done properly. I look a hot mess but it’s a workout so it’s okay.
1 start with toes pointing forward shoulder width apart.
2 step right and squat
3 knee over the ankle and tush pushing back
4 when you stand up lift with the glutes and the inner thigh to bring the right leg back in. DO NOT just push off the ground.
5 step left and repeat steps 3 & 4.
Do 15 on each side (30 total) x 3. Use whatever weight you choose. If you don’t have weights then household items like water jugs or liter bottles work well. I am sure you can find something to grab that weighs 2 lbs or more.
