Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette

For lunch while doing the Ultimate Reset I had a salad pretty much everyday. There were other options but I was wither not able to make them due to time or I just didn’t like them. I was getting bored with the dressings and I was really craving Chick-Fil-A’s grilled market salad. So I decided to create it myself based on the recipes in the nutrition guide and my own little tweaks. All ingredients were on the approved ingredient list in the same week so I figured it was okay. It turned out really well. It was delicious. I still wanted the chicken and blue cheese on the salad but I enjoyed it. I had it 2 or 3 times while completing week 3.

Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette

What you Need:

(Makes about 8 servings, 2 tbsp each)

1/2 cup EVOO

1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tsp Himalayan salt

1 tsp raw local honey (or pure maple syrup Grade B)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

2 tsp fresh herbs or herbal seasoning (optional)

(I used a little basil and parsley)

2-3 tbsp chopped onion (optional)

1 clove garlic. (optional)

What to Do:

Place all ingredients in a small blender and pulse to chop. Then blend it until smooth. Place in a glass salad dressing bottle. You can buy one a target or walmart.
